Account & Data Deletion

1. Send your request

Email contact@idleots.net with the subject IdleOTS data deletion. If possible, write from the email associated with your game or provider account. Include your character name, world and the sign-in method you used. State whether you want to delete the entire game account or ask about removing a provider connection.

Do not send your password, Google or Facebook password, recovery key, payment card details or an identity document with the initial request. If you no longer have access to the original email, explain that so we can arrange proportionate account verification.

2. Verification and response

A member of the operator's team handles the request. We may ask you to verify control of the relevant account before deleting data or changing a sign-in connection, to protect characters from unauthorised deletion.

We respond without undue delay and normally within one month of receiving your request. If a permitted extension is necessary, we inform you within that initial month. We explain any information we must retain and the reason. This page provides a manual request process; it is not an automatic deletion callback or a self-service delete button.

3. What deletion covers

For a verified full-account deletion, we delete or anonymise account identifiers, sign-in connections, stored provider information, character and inventory data, profile entries and related personal data as applicable. Active sessions are revoked. Shared records, such as market history or messages involving other players, may need anonymisation rather than removal of another player's records.

We may retain limited information where required by law, necessary for a specific dispute or necessary to document the request. Backup copies expire through the relevant retention process. We will explain relevant exceptions in our response. Permanently deleting a game account removes its progress and access; removing a provider connection alone may leave the game account in place and can affect your ability to sign in.

4. Also remove access in Facebook or Google

If you connected Facebook, you can remove IdleOTS in Facebook's Apps and websites settings. If you connected Google, you can review and remove the connection in your Google Account's third-party connections settings. The provider may change the exact names of these settings.

Removing a connection at the provider stops that connection; it does not by itself confirm deletion of information already held by IdleOTS. Send the request above for game data deletion. We cannot delete your Facebook or Google account.
